We're doing some cosmetic updates to Gertrude. A stack more like the one on Eureka and a bottom for the smoke box is in the works. I've removed the rosettes from the base of the handrail standoffs and the helper hand rail on the cab. A lot of new wireing has been done to accommodate the new "Johnson Bar" I've built. The throttle and F/R functions will be in one lever.

This fall I'll be getting more supplies and hope to get at least another two or three hundred feet of track laid. We welcome any help. If you're in the area and want to pitch in let me know. My schedule is somewhat flexible so I may be able to create work days around your availability. With Dennis finished I estimate a crew of four could get a good hundred feet of track panels built, laid, and ballasted in one day.
